DEFENDING THE RIVER

Our web series, “The Hudson, A River at Risk,” is a labor of affection created by Oceans 8 Films and the One Ocean Media Foundation (501-c-3). Our goal is to share these stories as widely as possible as part of an ongoing environmental education series. Whether we are reporting from Antarctica or the Maldives, Bakersfield or Pittsburgh, our goal is tell environmental stories with an eye clearly focused on educating. The highest compliment we can get after people watch our films is, “I learned something.” Please have a look at our other films at www.oceans8films.com.

The beauty of working digitally and on the web means this series of stories – video clips, text, photos, graphs and charts, maps – will continue to grow over the years.
